Trans women were the most targeted among us before and they will be even more so after today—especially in the US, but this targeting could travel everywhere.

If you know trans women in your local community, I would suggest asking if they feel unsafe and how you can help. Protect our sisters.

As someone who was raised in a helicopter & abusive household & then isolated from peers due to social anxiety/disabilities; i never understood this mantra.

That online is unreal. That it matters less. Online was my escape - still is sometimes - where people actually cared.

What I'm seeing on here is overwhelming condemnation; despair at the violence of US politics; alarm at where this might go; & calls for equal horror at other shootings.
