RIP Hideki Sato. Former Sega President (2001-2003) and father of Sega's consoles, including my favourite one, the Mega Drive, has passed at the age of 75.

Anyway that argument is never going to go away especially as time goes on because video game history isn't taken seriously enough, and besides that, your average video game enjoyer just wants to play New Thing and has no incentive to care about old thing, unless they want to make Bad YouTube videos.
