A lot of depression and anxiety is situational, and warranted, because people live in shit circumstances. They’re poor, without resources, etc. and the reason it’s become popular to blame “mental health” is because it’s a way of evading responsibility.

The other thing that upsets me about seeing obvious starvation as trend is that frailty will only cause more problems with age. As we get older it's so important to develop strong muscle and bone to reduce the risk of injury! Strength is a long-term investment in mobility.
