🧵 We find that industrial and craft unions differ in their frame usage. Moreover, in the lead-up to elections that were ultimately won, unions systematically used almost all frames more frequently than in lost cases—especially diagnostic, prognostic, and community frames.

In a new pre-print with @cerenbudak.bsky.social and @lajello.bsky.social, we study US labor unions’ Facebook use of discourse frames around wins and losses in representation elections. 🧵
