your avatar was so well integrted, and the graphs??? best vid I've watched this year, bar none
so nice
appreciate it so much, excited to see what is next
OOPS, autocomplete has failed me!!
Hey @chancethedev.bsky.social, really appreciate how you're pushing radix forward, amazing work
did you get a chance to see github.com/radix-ui/pri...? 1 line change adding a missing dep array to an effect that fixes a really nasty infinite re-render bug with all popper elements
since I remembered here is better than there
so yesterday
do it
do it
do it
I made a trailer for the Aseprite Dark/Light Resourcepack! Download it now only on @modrinth.com ! (super late #mcartday post) www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx-a...
this went so incredibly hard that I saved your bsky link just to come here and say "wow"
wow
goddd
fuck these mega corps, this is heartbreaking
"You win!" screen of the game Balatro
K, it got me
this game feels so good
probably have more but not on top of mind, will try to come back if anything pops on my mind, but wanna make clear how great radix is, for every annoying thing, there are 10 great ones
Radix giving us the primitives to compose was so good, going through the codebase and API made me so much better as a dev, but I feel such a hard ceiling using it. It solves the 90% beautifully, and enabled the community to be so much better, but those last 10%..
Love radix to death tho
and the biggest one, that actually drove me away from radix
DropdownMenu and ContextMenu are pretty much the same, why did I as a user, had to make a component `Menu` that based on a prop propagates context down and chooses which of them to render? I don't want to write every menu twice on my app
and how not straight forward it is to make modals not close when the user interacts with extensions like 1password
I hate how I have to recreate the internal state logic so many times when using the primitives to make a design system, wish for a hook that gives me all the things and I pass that to the root while able to control stuff from outside?
and nesting portaled stuff is annoying, should be automatic
just saw the vid and immediately had to find your socials, amazing stuff, love to see it!
If design fails, everything else is compromised.
been waiting for this kind of thing for so long, nice!
this as a first principle
Not opening some of it, ALL of it is open! We're using it as one of the sample datasets you get when visiting our playground

at proto is beautiful
Query tab of Axiom.co, shows a table of events returned from querying "bsky"
We're now logging EVERYTHING that happens on bluesky at axiom.co,
go crazy: app.axiom.co/axiom-play-q...
this post doesn't test any api. I would never...
but if I would I'd attach an uuid like 09cf3e03-1e39-43cb-9a76-1a7db363056c
so cool
DOM order is the way and I'll die on this hill
