A Sunday morning in May 2004. The final 'The Premiership' airs on ITV. A montage of the invincible season is played accompanied by show song 'U2 - Beautiful Day'.
Simpler times, such memories, take me back.

Another lap and Norris and he was done. He took it home well in those final 2 laps with no brakes.

Myles Lewis-Skelly nutmegs the Albania goalkeeper to score on his England debut.
18 - Aged 18 years and 176 days, Myles Lewis-Skelly is the youngest player in history to score on his senior England debut, surpassing Marcus Rashford's record of 18 years and 209 days v Australia in May 2016. Rise.
Since February Milkel Merino (4) has more goals than Jota, Nunez and Diaz combined (3). Yet Liverpool would not have been affected in the same way that Arsenal have if they lost 4/6 forwards according to some. ππ
I honestly reckon he should be investigated for spot fixing. He was trying to get a yellow card all game.
Ahead of his time. Pitty that he died so young.
Wesley Fofana stamped on Declan Rice, caught Trossard on the shin with his studs, hauled him down to stop a counter attack and scythed down Lewis-Skelly at the edge of the box. No bookings.
But, when he threw a ball on the pitch, he was carded.
Technicalities over player safety. Incompetence. #AFC
Who ever heard of Gillespie Road?!
To paraphrase Phil Costa. Iβll be happy with whoever loses.
If youβre looking for some Sunday viewing, hereβs a highlight from Dennis Bergkampβs 2006 testimonial.
Old pal Edgar Davids bursts through on goal, chips the keeper, and then gets needlessly shithoused by Gilles Grimandi.
Brings a tear to the eye.
Would be great for Sainz getting a few podiums and grab a win over the season.
Arsenal through and through π
@leahcwilliamson becomes @ArsenalWFC's all time #BarclaysWSL appearance maker π
βHe assisted nothing in Zinchenko's goal other than a passβ
The definition of an assist!!! πππ
Then us in the semis!!!!
He must have had a brief stint in Turkey before he retired.
Think you have to add Raya with the two lads too. But a poor United should have beaten us. We had nothing in the final third.
Sure it wasnβt even a red card!!!! Fecking VAR!!!
Itβs currently supposed to be 6 seconds till an indirect free kick is awarded.
Tim the head of PGMOL thinks this was a yellow card!! Think youβre been a bit more than optimistic. As long as we have dinosaurs in charge and in high profile media positions, nothing will change.
Well his boss thought this was a yellow in the World Cup final soβ¦
The boot got the defender lads!!! Not the other way around. πππ
We had 2 forwards injured in January. Everyone knew including Arteta that we needed support. The Goalkeeper shambles in the summer meant no domestic loan and top targets were not available and long term deals would scupper the long term building. If this summer is a failure then we are in trouble
Liverpool fined 5th the year VvD was injured. One player turned them from contenders to 5th.
We have had one thing after another this year and find ourselves 2nd. Squad fatigue, a scrambled end to our summer window, injures, suspensions. Not what I want but all considering doing ok.
I think the last time we took someone on a yellow off at half time (Nwaneri v Brighton) it was an injury not tactical. Surely could have given him 10/15 minutes of the 2nd half.
They didnβt say weβd keep a clean sheet though. F*cking losersβ¦
Was chatting to a fellow gunner today and we both have very little hope and then both went well if we win and Newcastle beat Liverpool you never know. πππ
Two very big IFS.
Yea, but the real question is should Arsenal have given him more time. ππ
Genuinely very happy for Eddie to finally get off the mark.
