2024 was absolutely bonkers, and often difficult, but as it comes to an end, I can’t help but smile thinking about all the wonderful people that have been in my life this year. 💛
8 feels so early, but… my son started at 12, and I wish we had started closer to 10. Probably would have avoided some fairly scary experiences. It’s hard to make that call though. It really is.

First week of on-call has been pretty smooth, even with a product launch. Big thank you to the infrastructure team, who tends to most of the issues before they become issues.
Having a girlfriend that lives an hour+ away has its challenges, but the time we share with each other throughout the week is always extra meaningful.
Started learning Python to assist my son with his programming class, and I like it more than I thought I would, especially with all the later v3 stuff.

Finally playing Portal. I was never really much of a PC gamer, so I’m very much enjoying this wonderfully clever game via the Switch version.

Just started watching Dragon Ball Daima. Love how it has the animation quality of Super, but with a feel of early-ish DBZ. Fun show so far. Also got my son watching Death Note, and he is telling me to watch JJK next.
