People are ready for a change.

Is saving posts (like “bookmarking”) a thing with ATP? With the portability of accounts, I can see immense value in being able to save certain content and know it would go with me wherever I go.

Seeing this post reminds me that I was going to ask about translation. I am guessing that is on the roadmap somewhere? I like being able to follow people that don’t post in English.

Gmail was invite-only for like 3 years, and that seems to have worked out well. Gating growth by issuing waves of invites to existing users not only breeds an enthusiastic user base, it builds a sense of scarcity that keeps people engaged. It was so exciting when I had a few more invites to give.

This is so legit. The last two with just the outlines and the big one are fantastic. Would be instantly recognizable. I think if mastodon can rock a purple elephant, a blue butterfly will be just fine. 😉

Bookmarks and lists are key.

Does using a custom domain mean that your Bsky.social username is released and someone else could take it?

If I use a custom domain, does that free up my current username for someone else to take or is it somehow maintained under my account?
