Having some fun recreating Cavalry's animations inside After Effects.

Finally got the Convex Hull working, close to what I wanted, but I messed up the toComp() so I brute-forced the rotation with a position expression😂

Based on Cavalry Explorations from Antonin Waterkeyn

I can finally talk about this fantastic project we made for Pepsi Smart Can. (a LED can, crazy)

This is one of many assets I made, aside from one of the three primary sequences, the system startup.

Due to the enourmous positive feedback about the sinedots filter I decided to release a slightly advanced version. For now only as AfterFx version but later also for Photoshop. Basically it's the same effect with a few extensions:

I'm using Battle Axe's Anubis on High, so I dont know how to translate that to render settings

Yey, I finally found a way do inscribe shapes without having to use Linear(), just some simple calculations.

Took a while since even GPT was having a bad time trying to figure this out lol

The ellipse threw me in a Math Habbit Role for some months, but it worked out

I’ve been using these connecting lines as an unfinished script almost daily, and I still need to turn it into a proper extension. It’s super handy how the lines automatically detect positions :)

I was messing around with expressions to keep a Text Layer centered and stacking some Text Animators.

If you animate the scale, the bounding box updates, creating some cool interactions

I'm trying to make some "Cavalry" inside After Effects, using only one text layer and text animators.

Can't say it's worth the hassle, but it's fun anyway

If only it were possible to access the anchor points inside text layers (maybe one day)
