🤣 I only wrote song-length stories till I was 45, and then one day I ended up 4 chapters in and now I have 3 novels that I really like! I just hadn’t given myself permission before that I think.

Oh, you have to hand those off to an author friend. It’s too hard to do your own.

Don’t get me started on wrestling a synopsis of your own novel. Impossible. -or an interview question like, “What’s this song about?”

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
