It's rather pretty! It'd make a nice alternative to hound's tooth on a dress shirt or something
I think our leaders need to pick when & how to push back. I'm hoping for no Australian troops/ships/planes being used. I think the Foreign Minister saying the US & Israel can explain the legality was actually good - she's not preemptively covering up or helping explain (a departure from the usual)
The issue is: like all mobsters, the US is constantly whispering threats *cough* engaging diplomatically with countries like Australia. I learnt in law school how the US forced changes to our laws in the 90s. This is context about a 70s Prime Minister, if you'd like: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alleged...
First Gulf War just as I started Uni
That's being far more careful in his phrasing than he usually is
My condolences, I'm aware that type of Christianity exists & it is dangerous
special section of HJ. When the Bund zur Förderung der Selbsthilfe der körperlich Behinderten e.V. (Association for the Strengthening of the Empowerment of People with Physical Impairments) was founded in 1919, it
It's a very interesting article.
I'd translate 'Bund zur Förderung der Selbsthilfe der körperlich Behinderten' as Association for the Promotion of Self-Help of physically Disabled People. I don't know if that matters, but promoting self-help feels different to strengthening empowerment
Don't most places do that (residence requirements)?
That's what Musk's hyperloop was all about.
I agree, American's views about busses are so weird to people living elsewhere in the world. In US movies and TV, I hear comments about busses and I'm just like whaaaaat?
Oh, is that why they've moved all the buttons around in the last week or 2? Ugh, it'll just get harder to do the basic things I need to do
My advice (worked in community TV) is have someone you really like sit behind the camera the 1st few times you record. They don't need to operate the camera. But you need to understand you are talking to loved ones *through* the camera, rather than thinking in abstract terms of 'audience' 'viewers'
People like companionship & the feeling someone is there with them, but their circumstances (WFH job, shiftwork, long commutes etc) mean it's hard to find other people who are available to hang out at that time
D'you reckon they just told AI to do the images, and they actually serve real food?
114 - honestly, I wish Steam had ways of categorising items on Wishlists ... some I won't buy but I still want to remember they exist
Thank you for including GOG!
I tried to figure out the meaning of liangjiahe ... I think the Wikipedia article needs some propaganda-minimising edits: "Xi Jinping's superhuman physical strength was demonstrated during his time in Liangjiahe"
My research interrupted by others' questions: a whole series of tabs open about Russian & Ukrainian oligarchs & military leaders, photos of Petra & the definition of pantomime
Did you know 20% of live performances per year in the UK are pantomime (according to Kitty Gurnos-Davies' PhD thesis)?
It's a request for the book. But of course, pleas write what you think is best!
Can you please help explain neurotypical perspectives/desires to autistic people? Not expecting autistic people to change in anyway, but just so they know what's usually going on in neurotypical minds? (I realise, you might have to play your 'I'm an author' card to get some interviews on this topic)
I am going to need to draw eyes on them, tho
I hate to ask, but who the heck is he? Yes, agreed, gormless
"Like many, I never really lost the inner nine-year-old who rejoices at the sight of armed soldiers marching in lockstep"...maaaate, don't admit that on page 25! Yes, you had the grace to admit you've never experienced war, but how the f*** do you expect readers to react? Putin's Wars by M. Galeotti
Sorry for the boring question: d'you happen to know where I could find more of this style of 90s graphic design online?
I do think we need to go back to the drawing board and create new theories of digital activism that aren’t downstream of and enclosed by the very methods that were promoted by and successful for the technofascists. It’s a new era and we are on autopilot making mistakes.
If you've time, I'm curious to hear which ideas could be near impossible now?
Could you please allow GOG to sell the Mac version?
Tell me five classes you took at Uni (college):
Francophone literature
French Sociology (no, not normal sociology, only sociology written in French)
Kafka
Modern German Film
Criminal Law
one of my absolute favourites!
The 2nd verse can be interpreted as pro-refugees & immigration, tho? Not saying you're wrong about the distraction tactics...
