I certainly understand. I got ZERO reading done during Christmas vacation because I had my kids constantly demanding attention. It wasn't until they were back into their normal routine that I was able to make progress.
I finished Wind and Truth. If you need me, I'll be staring blankly at the ceiling and waiting for my brain to reboot. That book was the wildest twelve novels I've ever read.

Oh I'm right there with you. I love Shallan. I think she's a very complex, nuanced character who gets way more criticism because people hate teenaged girls far more than any other type of character in literature. The misogyny is rough.
I have some theories about why people hate her. Some are valid (she does some genuinely classist/racist things in early content)... some of them are not...

OK, I'm not a casting director by any means... but I need Jonathan Bailey to be SOMEWHERE in the Cosmere. Anywhere. Just. Put him in the Cosmere. I'm a ride-or-die anime adaptation proponent, but I would put my ass in a movie theater seat for a live action adaptation if it has Jonathan Bailey in it.
