I spend a lot of time criticizing the U.S. media’s failures to confront the fascist regime. But I think the NY Times and other outlets are showing serious skepticism about this appalling war. The coverage is far less sycophantic than in the Iraq war, for example. They need to keep exposing the lies.
Trump’s entire political life has been premised around the unimportance of reality and the belief that he will never be held to account for his actions. From his perspective, why wouldn’t that pattern continue?
