I lived in the DC area in the 1970’s when The Irish Tradition began their years-long residency at The Dubliner. Brendan’s music inspired me then, and its hold on me has lasted to this day. So glad I caught up with him at the IMT concert this past October. One of a kind, he will be missed!
This collection came about through the efforts of Anton (Tony) Zille. You can read Tony’s introduction to the project on The Session (thesession.org.) And hear a sample of Anton’s own fine fiddling while you're there.
Highly recommended!
