Congrats to BlueSky (alternative to X/Twitter, and created by Twitter's founder) for breaking 40 MILLION users!
There is now a Chrome plugin (Sky Follower Bridge) that will look at your X followers and see if they already have a Bluesky account, and automatically follow them in Bluesky.

A new global ranking by CondΓ© Nast Traveler just placed Canada among the top 10 best countries to travel to in 2025 β€” and it's American travellers who helped put us there. With a score of 90.94 out of 100, it's Canada's best placement in this ranking in at least seven years.

Time for the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) to rescind Trump's MBA?
The trade/tarriff war shows he has learned NOTHING!

Canada should (a) end US Customs Pre-Clearance in Canadian airports and force US Customs do this at US airports. Chaos willl be across the US ariline industry, airports, and travel industry at ZERO COST to Canada. (b) End US coal shipments throught the Tsawwassen BC CoalPort

To Singh and the NDP, supporting workers and small businesses affected by Trump's tarriffs is more important than chaos in Canada to help Poilievre try to become PM. And keep Canada from becoming the "51st state".
Consistent: He supported individuals and small businesses during COVID,

First brought up in 2019 by Germany, now being re-discussed (pic from the National Post). 1) We're already bilingual and we are already metric. 2) The French in Quebec get access to jobs & opportunities in France. 3) Canada gets people mobility as well as free trade! 4) Europe APPRECIATES Canada.

Germany knows a shitty compromise "truce" with Russia is NOT an option.
And it WILL NOT solve Europe's Russia problem!

Trump does not like Canada because ALL Trump developments here WENT BROKE!!!
Canada sees the Trump name/brand as TOXIC. That realization is what he's really mad about.

Part II: and the 14th Amendment (birthright citzenship) and the 4th Amendment (no unreasonable search and seizure) as ICE is detaining and shipping out almost anyone of colour. It's almost like Jim Crow is now the law of the Land -- not just in Confederate States.

The "Johnny Reb" Republicans have taken over Washington, weakening both the government and the American military, that they lost the Civil War to back in 1865.
Lincoln is rolling in his grave as protections for blacks, hispanics, and women are rolled back, ... see Part II

@charlieangus104.bsky.social If Trump implements tarriffs on Canadian goods, we should shutter all US customs pre-clearance in Canadian Airports and force US Csutoms to handle all million daily Canadian visitors on home turf. CHAOS in US airports and to travel industry would steal media focus!!

Not surprised. 12,000 structures means maybe 25,000 people homeless until their residences are rebuilt. Over 100,000 have been evacuated --for how long?--- and need a place to stay. This is a major supply & demand shock, which will have impact for years. Glad the California AG taking a stand.

CONGRATS.
If I'm asked for advice on how to play better hockey (not that I'm asked very often), my stock answer for over a decade has been, "play like our national women's team!"
