Am going off social media for a week or so. In the meantime: take care you all -- and to the Hongkongers among you: please keep on really f**king loving Hong Kong.
@ytsl
I really f**king love Hong Kong, and Funassyi! Bluesky user #55,617 -- joined in May 2023! -- but am also "over there" too. Yes, I'm still straddling between Twitter and here (because there still are not enough Hongkongers and Funassyi fans here!).

I'm glad you did as now I know about your having becoming a fellow fan of the Pear (Fairy)!!! π
I get the feeling it was waiting for someone on the way to/from a Barbecue or Picnic to feed it (or that it could steal from)... π
I'm so happy to hear this!
(BTW, don't know if you've realised this but I do try to post at least once about Funassyi daily!)
Hail Nyango Star, who also just happens to be the drummer in Charamel, Funassyi's band! π₯°
Yes, there are wild monkeys in Hong Kong...
I must say that I try to avoid them as I am NOT a fan of monkeys in the wild in Hong Kong.
Bonus Funassyi video today!
Lucky you!
You've not been to Kam Shan/Shing Mun/Lion Rock Country Parks??
Funassyi can speak (some) Mandarin. Some time back, it shared that it taught itself Mandarin after it became interested in the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. (History buff Funassyi's also interested in Japan's Sengoku period, and has played video games with these Warring States themes!)π€ͺ
I had relatives who lived in an apartment on a hillier part of Kowloon Tong. At dinner one time, they excitedly told me, "You can see the Symphony of Lights from here" and made me watch (a part of) it. The view was NOT great. As if the show wasn't already lame. SMH.
I've done the mixing it with raw egg thing. Have to now try your suggestions!
Are you sure though that "Nobody claiming to be a Twitter refugee is actually claiming any hardship or stealing any valor"?
Sadly, we are not insulated from seeing lots of reactions to it on Bluesky though. π
a) for me.
The first South Korean film I viewed was "Shiri" (1999). π
Think people around the globe will soon get to the same conclusion. Except for China, robotics and AI are growing at a time when youth unemployment is already ridiculously high
That natto topped with lots of negi looks delicious!
I don't get steam blowing out of my ears but my face DOES get red when I'm angry. AND I feel the top of my head get hot. Literally!
There seem to be two CGTN accounts. Have Blocked both.
Its account currently has 75 Followers. And only 6 accounts have Blocked it thus far. With one of the 6 being mine.
Some years back, I met someone who claimed to have designed the Symphony of Lights show. I must say I was surprised he admitted this, and was proud of it too!
A friend said Bluesky seems too nice, with everyone seeming to agree (or, at least, not openly disagree) with each other. I know what he means but people do get angry -- and, frankly, pretty weird -- here about Twitter.
(Also, in all honesty, I've seen FAR less discussion about Bluesky on Twitter.)
Safety first. Do not imitate.
For the record: It is NOT illegal to NOT vote in Hong Kong elections. But for some reason, it is illegal to ASK people to NOT vote. π
And yes, the sentence is a suspended one. But that means the threat of imprisonment looms over her if the government decides that something else she does is wrong.
This sounds like hell to me!
Recall that this was Rodrigo Duterteβs response to Oct 7th. The same scorched earth policy that he enacted in Marawi City
Today is Funyassyi's birthday. (Weird but true: In the Pear (Fairy) universe, Funya is a Cat Pear (Fairy) that is Funassyi's Cat. π΅βπ«π π€£) Check out one of the videos that introduced it to the world... π
A cloudy sky that's got orange as well as light blue, white and gray bits above it. Also in the frame: the top of the International Financial Centre in Hong Kong.
Golden hour in Hong Kong today.
