The Flatout games were absolutely instrumental for my love of racing games as a kid. I still revisit the first three THQ games from time to time, they're so good
The old school Mazda logo is so rad, I always love seeing them on vintage Mazdas.
Love seeing your progress on this project, you're doing so much cool shit.
Come over and let's have a game night where we smoke and play split screen all night
I very clearly have a "type" when it comes to video games
God, literally me in a few months when I hit 30.
Yayyy! So happy to hear that Hunter, wishing the best for you!!!
I keep trying to dial in my Scanners mind powers, but unfortunately no luck yet
god saves his spiciest mustard for his bravest lil corndogs
Thank you, I am incredibly lucky to have two phenomenal tracks with a thriving community within reasonable driving distance. Hopefully you are able to get back into it!
But the thing about this hobby that's so great is it encourages everyone to be better. The more drivers that are better the more fun the hobby is. Grabbing doors with a stranger on track, pulling off, and then both of y'all are celebrating because it was rad as fuck. The sense of community is insane
But it's just so wild that I am starting to build the ability to see my car mid slide and be able to fine tune things like angle and how close to the wall I am. All of this sounds so cheesy if you haven't done it, it's like the equivalent of the balance while grinding meter in a Tony Hawk game
It's nice to have a hobby outside of furry that is also social and encourages constant development of a skill. RC drifting has been so good for that.
This morning i'm thinking about how much I've grown as a driver and how much I am enjoying this hobby. It may sound cheesy, but getting to the point where I can link turns with speed and lay down clean laps just makes me feel so good, it has taken a lot of dedication and practice to reach this level

I just think they're neat!!!

End of an era. This was a great truck and I hope the next owner enjoys it even half as much as I have.

a digital collage with a pink, purple, green, yellow, and teal gradient overlaid on all the images. the images include a horse carrying a bucket, a cluster of mushrooms, a grub, a birds talon, a cicada, five spiders, two flower buds, a hand with an eye over the back of it, and a microscope slide of atoms. there is white text that reads "get weirder or die miserable." the background is black and there is a slightly grainy texture

Glad to see the vibes of the future Edmund Fitzgerald bathroom are immaculate.
Flying out of a sweeper with the Acuvance Fledge absolutely screaming to then have to do a rapid back to back transition and then catch it before the wall is soooooooooo fun when you nail it.
My home track is polished concrete, so with J tile it really allows the tires to bite and grip up more so you can really get some speed and start hucking the car on entries.
EVEN MORE SLIDING TODAY?!?!! And it's a special treat of being a J tile track, ooooooooo
Bought and built some yokomo big bore shocks and holy shit, the amount of grip I gained and the feel of the chassis is so much better. I can absolutely just start hucking it into corners
Up too late or awake too early? I dunno, weekend slides were the fucking move either way.
That's usually how it has been for me too! It's so exciting to share the unique experience of driving a manual with someone for the first time, hope y'all have a great time!
One thing that I have found critical is making sure that the environment is comfortable & not stressful, positive affirmations for correct inputs go a long way too. Bringing a positive demeanor helps tremendously, when the student and the teacher both share enthusiasm the outcome is usually better.
SCX30 with brushless is soooooo smooth now :3
Musical albums I really like printed to 1/35 scale. Cut into shape and put in a little 3d printed crate. Finger and exacto blade for scale
The record crates placed in the vehicle, notice the driver sleeping in the middle.
Can you name each album?? Some are obvious but a few odd balls in there.
Working on a 1/35 scale diorama and wanted to add some personality to the main vehicle, a VW bus.
