We are on a dangerous path in America. A panel of Ninth Circuit judges has chosen to not hold the president accountable: they just granted the federal government’s motion to stay our first TRO, which prevented the president from deploying Oregon National Guard troops in Oregon.
To be clear, the Judge scheduled a hearing for Thursday, saying she needed the time for the parties to provide her with more information before she made a decision. This is hardly a win for the Trump administration.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court rules 6-3 to allow Trump’s “pocket rescission” of $4 billion in foreign aid funding, ruling that it’s unlikely the groups suing have standing to pursue the claim and that Trump’s foreign policy power outweighs their purported harms.
