One clown replacing another clown in the clown car doesn't change that it's still a clown car.

Business reporters usually have just one source -- company officials or analysts parroting company officials -- and NEVER talk the consumers for a more informed column. Instead, they belittle what is quite apparently an effective consumer backlash.

How many more Minnesotans is the Trump admin going to kill?
My message to MNUFC is this: you have the fan base you have, and you better lean into that or you will not have anywhere near the matchday support you currently enjoy. Your hardest core of supporters are telling you loud and clear what their values are, listen to them.

I told them. You donβt have to take on Trump, but refusing to acknowledge the pain and suffering of those who spend their money and energy on your team is an insult. I was hopeful they would do something.
To try to wish it all away with βunityβ is just pathetic.
The public comment period for Rethinking I-94 has been extended two weeks to March 23. The community is asking for a THREE MONTH EXTENSION. It's time to call @governorwalz.mn.gov and your state reps and senators. It's appalling that the communities most affected by the highway are treated this way.
No. The answer is no. No voter ID Chuck. It's a poll tax by any other name. Jesus Christ he is the worst.
My father was born in 1945. The Salk vaccine wasnβt approved until 1955 (it was literally front page news). My dad remembers watching his motherβs tears of relief when he got the shot.
Heβs still alive, btw. You want me to go ask him what happened to the kids he played with who didnβt get the shot?

Tesla made suppliers tool up for 120k units/year of this turd, it sold a third of that in year one, and then sales fell by 50% in year two.

The political effects of X's feed algorithm https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-026-10098-2 Received: 16 December 2024 Accepted: 4 January 2026 Published online: 18 February 2026 Open access β’ Check for updates Germain Gauthier,5, Roland Hodler?5, Philine Widmer35 & Ekaterina Zhuravskaya3,4,5 m Feed algorithms are widely suspected to influence political attitudes. However, previous evidence from switching off the algorithm on Meta platforms found no political effects'. Here we present results from a 2023 field experiment on Elon Musk's platform X shedding light on this puzzle. We assigned active US-based users randomly to either an algorithmic or a chronological feed for 7 weeks, measuring political attitudes and online behaviour. Switching from a chronological to an algorithmic feed increased engagement and shifted political opinion towards more conservative positions, particularly regarding policy priorities, perceptions of criminal investigations into Donald Trump and views on the war in Ukraine. In contrast, switching from the algorithmic to the chronological feed had no comparable effects. Neither switching the algorithm on nor switching it off significantly affected affective polarization or self-reported partisanship. To investigate the mechanism, we analysed users' feed content and behaviour. We found that the algorithm promotes conservative content and demotes posts by traditional media. Exposure to algorithmic content leads users to follow conservative political activist accounts, which they continue to follow even after switching off the algorithm, helping explain the asymmetry in effects. These results suggest that initial exposure to X's algorithm has persistent effects on users' current political attitudes and account-following behaviour, even in the absence of a detectable effect on partisanship.
A new paper shows that less than 2 months of exposure to Twitterβs algorithmic feed significantly shifts peopleβs political views to the right.
Moving from chronological feed to the algorithmic feed also increases engagement.
This is one of the most concerning papers Iβve read in awhile.
Seen this very good post RT'd a few times now, and worth noting that one of the main group behind this is Haven Watch, and you can support them here: havenwatch.org
I'm going to make it a mission to remind people that it was the MINNESOTA REBEL ALLIANCE, not "Minneapolis," that showed the country was mutual aid and resistance can look like.
If we're going to learn from it, you have to remember that people pitched to help others who WERE NOT "neighbors."
They don't want to acknowledge that they are complicent. We will make sure everyone remembers in November.
The reason the FBI won't share evidence in the Alex Pretti shooting case is obvious:
The FBI is NOT investigating the shooting; they are covering it up.

Went to Mercado for breakfast tacos today and watched a little kid fist bump the security guy in a FUCK ICE hoodie and sometimes it just hits you that weβre gonna win.
Along these lines: if you live in Minneapolis, the Hennepin County Attorney we elect this fall is going to be the lawyer in charge of prosecuting ICE agents for the murders and atrocities they committed against us. That's why I'm supporting Cedrick Frazier.

A huge Norm Nation update! Yesterday, so many reached out to help a family in hiding escape eviction. Today, I paid $3,700 for 3 monthsβ rent (2 months of back rent since they canβt leave the house and also Marchβs rent, because itβs already mid-February). Thank you so much! You are saving lives.
