This International Sex Worker Rights day I want you to wo/man the fuck up and shut down whorephobic people in your life.

When you hear someone dehumanize sex workers, speak up and defend them. In person. To your friends and family.

We're not saying share kinks with family.
We're asking for the bare minimum.
We know how they already talk about us because we hear it.

Be a grown adult and stand up for human rights. If you don't tell them we're humans deserving of jobs and respect, who will?

If a sex worker admits what they do to survive, they might lose their home. their 9-5. Their family. their friends. their reputation. their safety network. Their banking rights.

We are being silenced by stigma.

You have more power than you think. Use that power.
