Enjoyed the practical effects in Primate but wish they had devoted more time to the chimp in the first act. We get one little scene with him and its not enough for us to invest in what's happening. Could have planted clever set ups to pay off later. A shame.

Xmas came early in the form of a screening of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang at my local theatre. Hard to believe it’s been out 20 years. Black’s writing is dizzying. Feeling a fresh level of awe for the precision ridiculousness he pulls off on the page and screen.

Incredibly Powerful pose. Have done it for 12-15 minutes and that’s a real strain. Can’t imagine doing it for an hour.

Caught up on Decision to Leave and liked it so much I watched it again except for the very end which seriously gutted me. Park’s direction is stellar. Such lush expert scene work. Can’t wait for No Other Choice. So cool that it’s adapted from a Donald Westlake book.

I like Momoa and I’m sure he’ll be good but part of me wants an unknown big crazy dude who would be hungry AF to throw down and go apex apeshit.

It’s extremely well paced and fun to watch. I really appreciate how good natured and honorable everyone is. There’s never any shitty vindictive behavior.

I love this show.💪
