Norfolk bird surveyors find Britainβs oldest known oystercatchers
Birds in their 40s wintering on mudflats and coastal wetlands of the Wash received leg rings in early 1980s
The news is finally out π
It was not only an amazing opportunity to be part of the group which caught the UK's oldest oystercatcher, but it was even more incredible when a month later we caught a new individual which was EVEN OLDER!
