#BlueBellFire in #Boulder, CO (near Chautauqua Park) currently burning amid extremely dry and near record-warm conditions (69F and 7% RH). Lack of strong winds right now thankfully a major mitigating factor. So far, mostly sfc fire plus occasional torching in confers. #COwx
This should simply be referred to as pulling a Macclesfield.
I finally got some flight shots π· and a little bit closer portrait shots π· of the leucistic bald eagle πͺΆ hanging around Southwest Missouri last week. She actually flew right by me and landed pretty close a couple times. Very blessed. #Birds #BlueSkyPhotography #NatureLovers #Eagles #Rarebird

Taking care of a friend's cattle dog for the weekend. Smart dog. Always needs a job. Very person and toy focused.

Album cover of Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister.
I insist on this album being played at rock out volume. It seems like it shouldn't work, but it does.

coupled with drought + high winds that uhhhh canβt be good for wildfire potential
Townsendβs solitaire (Myadestes townsendi) perched on a twig with wind blowing against its feathers.
I listened to this Townsendβs solitaire's call yesterday. Wonderful highs and lows greeting the world.

A tall Oak tree with four Bald Eagles. The tree has grown on a sandbar in the WI River.
There is a sandbar in the WI River with a huge old Oak tree where the Bald Eagles like to hang out. It's leaning quite a bit, so I don't know how many more years it has. The sand isn't the greatest base, but it grew very tall in the middle if the river.
