Learning to pen plot as a novice with a machine that has no instructions was⦠interesting.
Finally succumbed to plotter madness.
Day 1) Learn how to use CLI to make plotter move
Day 2) Realize 0,0 is not where I thought it was
Day 3) First svg plot using @revdancatt.comβs wonderful plotter utility
Day 4) Drastically simplify current digital art project and print a layerβ¦
I guess I should pay more attention to. Totally slept on this.
Crush #214, an artwork by Andreas Gysin https://crush.ertdfgcvb.xyz/
Couldnβt resist this Crush.
It breaks my heart that some in the genart community are still posting on Twitter and Instagram despite knowing 100% who they are supporting. Move on.

A WIP from my neverending grid generator project. A multicoloured non-conforming grid is shown. One grid line escapes at the top left.

Progression of random grid generator. Building in P5 but will port to javascript and SVG once logic is done. Random HSB colours (no palettes).
Love the escaping line in the top left.

Two framed 16x20 test prints from The Breaks project on fx(hash)
Cheap frames with very reflective glass, but these test prints for βThe Breaksβ project are going on the wall.
The Breaks outputs look really nice over on https://tender.art/project/the-breaks
Plenty left ;)

I donβt think a pen plotter would be able to convey the gradients, but I know what you mean. One day, perhaps.
New 0xaegen project "The Breaks" available on fxhash soon. Abstract wave patterns increase exponentially in a variety of palettes.
