Seriously, this was a great game. >w<
Oh! I never wrote about how the campaign wrapped up whoops
We solved our problems by causing more problems, as usual. Blew up half a prison, incited a city-wide riot on the emperor's ascension day, and got a demon/vampire elected as mayor. Our crew disbanded in the aftermath as everyone pursued...

I have a binder, too! Not that I have many fully stitched pieces _yet_.
An art portfolio featuring some cross stitch finishes of a dragon, some electric eels and Felicia from the game DarkStalkers
An art portfolio featuring some cross stitch finishes of the Igni and Yrden signs from Witcher 3, surrounded by flowers and alchemy ingredients representing that element.
An art portfolio featuring some cross stitch finishes of Chaos from the game Hades, some midnight jellyfish, a glow in the dark mushroom, and a wheel of time bookmark themed around Mat Cauthon's famous saying "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain."
I've got a whole book of stitched but not fully finished pieces, so when I have a new finish I'm thinking about or a frame I thrifted, I can easily flip through and see if any of these would work with it!
How do you store your finishes before they get FFO'd? I'd love to know!

It's probably pretty natural for any human to want to tell a story. It's something we've done for ages.
But I also know that something feels wrong if I don't get a chance to do so, even a tiny bit. And everything feels better when I do.
Anyways, storytelling is fun.
Even more so, I love collaborative storytelling. Whether it's gamified through TTRPGs, or sprinkled into video games, or engaging in other media, or directly through discussion with friends. Bouncing ideas and characters and events and plot twists is so much fun!
I think I'm meant to tell stories. Not necessarily good ones haha But narratives come so easily to my mind for all sorts of things. It feels so natural to me to come up with stories.
2025 full color commission portrait of a cat office at evening in a dimly lit wooden study, a black long haired cat sits at a desk beginning needlework. She wears a plaid suit and sits in a sturdy chair, her tail wrapping around the frame of the desk. on her desk is a table cloth, and a top that is a whirring fan, a rotary phone, two books, a sake bottle and cup. A short hair siamese cat brings a steaming cup of tea. He wears a grey sweater with a red collar and cuff, and his tail sticks up energetically behind him.

What do you call a magician without magic?
Ian.
(I heard this joke after I named him, and it's too perfect. His name is Ianzaphir, but you can call him Ian.)
Digital drawing of an elf with braided black hair, copper skin, and a big goofy grin. He's holding and flipping through a spellbook.
Here's a character that I've been wanting to play for a while. He's a warlock that thinks he's a wizard. :3

"Let me explain: on average, illustrators don't make any money. They are already one of the most immiserated, precartized groups of workers out there. They suffer from a pathology called "vocational awe."..."

Most of us understand that drawing isn't a matter of inherent talent, but aquired skill. I also think a lot about how your success in learning to draw might have to do with how well you handle frustration, and how comfortable you are with making mistakes. The barrier i usually see--

If you want a game where your choices matter SO MUCH that it can wildly change the story and world in hugely different ways, then play a tabletop RPG with your friends lol.

If you didn't know this existed, there's actually 1 more place that Bluesky has labels coming out of, and that's here, which we're ALL registered to by default and can't opt out of, but it's not CLEAR where these settings are until you find them: bsky.app/profile/mode...
You know, when generative art stuff was the new talk of the town about three years ago I was like βokay, I will see what this is all about and how to fit it into a single artist pipelineβ, and did a couple experiments with how it could be used to optimize tedious parts of the process-

Technically we rescued our imprisoned friend but we are still in the prison and the session ended on a cliffhanger, so, uh oh!
