My goal with WTFJHT has always been to help people establish a better relationship with the news. Offering an audio option fits that mission. And it’s also something readers have told me they’ve wanted.
So this week I reintroduced the WTFJHT audio edition.
Just wanted to remind people about this great resource - get a daily summary of political news in a concise format curated by @mattkiser.bsky.social since 1/20/17

Yea, I made a change to one of my feeds and forgot to disable an automation. As a result I puked out 50-something days of posts across all my social media all at once 😂
When I started WTF Just Happened Today? in early 2017, there weren’t many examples of paycheck people making the leap to full-time solo media operator.
Here’s how the math maths: ~2% of readers underwrite WTFJHT, which unlocks free access for everyone else. The annual cost to send the newsletter is about $1.95/sub. Avg. monthly contribution per member is $6.24, which means each supporter effectively "pays for" approximately 38 free subscribers.
