Our vet recommended a company called Balance It when it looked like we might have to cook for our cat. balance.it
They have recipes, and you add in their supplements. We never used them because we found a commercial diet that worked, so I can't say more.
I called Purina (and several others) and asked for all their flavors that didn't contain chicken or chicken byproducts, and those were 2 they suggested and that she liked. I think there is also a Pro Plan Complete flavor? But I dont remember.
We raised our kitten on Royal Canin & treated her for acid reflux, but through elimination dieting, we found chicken to be the cause. We tried expensive chicken free diets, but she ended up loving the cheap cans of Fancy Feast Cod, Sole & Shrimp Feast and Tender Beef Feast the best. Good luck!
