So sad...I'd rip back if it was knit Top-down.
That doesn't sound right. Can you get the pedal checked? I had a machine that did that about 40 years ago. The repair shop just replaced the pedal.
Have you blocked it?
I have 2 LYS, but I am trying to use the yarn I spin. I'm a really slow knitter, so I'll never actually knit every skein I spin.
Water bottle cover?
Krokbrod!!!
Krokbrod-style tablet weaving on an ankle loom.
Krokbord defeated me, so I put the warp on cards.
Ribbon candy is more old-fashioned...
I'm actually going to have to buy a tin of butter cookies this year as a gag-gift. Hopefully the drug store will have "Danish" butter cookies made in India....
True....
I was being targeted by a supervisor who had a habit of culling long-time employees by placing them on "action plans". I turned to 2 mediums, fiber arts and lampwork, which didn't work well in the same space 😀 Decided to sell off the lamp work supplies 3 years later.
The sweater began to fall apart when washed. Oh well!
I had one of those taken by TSA, under Pres. Bush. Check current guidelines.
Is there a culture specific storage or cook pot? Drinking vessel? Spoon or stirrer?
Got my Christmas towels pressed and ready to hem stacked up on my seed starting shelves.
I'm out of pins! 9+ yards of linen cut and ironed for towel gift sets. I've learned never to start sewing at 9pm, so I'm packing them up for tonight.
This old sweater's bottom half is all torn up. I'm replacing the bottom. Of course the yarns don't match....
I believe this year's holiday observance is a perfect "teaching moment".
Hi! Bitly won't allow access to your conference information.
Dug out a project from last summer. I'd made a scrap linen tank, then realized that the inevitable coffee or tomato stain would lead to random embroidery to cover the spots. So, now, I need some ideas to fill in the neckline.
@tasslefizney1.bsky.social As a weaver, I agree with you about chenille yarn--it worms unless the warp & weft is close sett and packed tight to make a closely woven fabric! How frustrating!
The only craft that I'm evenly moderately successful at under the influence is spinning on the wheel--not drop spindling!😁

Untreated hardwood? Compost bin?
Depends on the task. When writing on a deadline, martyr music, either Jesus Christ Superstar or Dune soundtracks. Celtic folk for research.
Knitting requires a nice murder mystery.
Sewing and gardening are accompanied by spoken word, so audiobooks or podcasts.
