One thing I love about the preview series this year is these All Goes Rights/Wrongs for each teams and the way they're in conversation with each other. Today's features the A's and Wallace Stegner: www.lookoutlanding.com/seattle-mari...
Cooper Criswell took another step towards earning a place in the Mariners' bullpen last night with a three-inning outing. www.lookoutlanding.com/seattle-mari...
I am a single issue voter and my vote is that Cole Young's defense is Fine, Actually

The spring of Cole Young improved infield defense continues apace
Heβs been very impressive on and off the field. Thanks for reading!
I appreciate the amount of videos in this for someone like me who had no idea what they were talking about.
Bryce Miller playing some catch this afternoon
Colt Emerson has ditched his leg kick for a toe tap, and in doing so, shown the kind of maturity and ability to make adjustments that sets him apart as a prospect.

Harry Ford greeting former teammates
Harry Ford is here at the Mariners complex ahead of team Great Britainβs exhibition game against the Padres, taking swings in the cages and catching up with old teammates
Showed this to Cole Young today because he said he hadnβt watched the video back yet.
βOh wow, I do look kinda fast.β
Today in our AL West preview series we look at the A's, who have a top-heavy farm with a 1-2-3 punch the Mariners will need to duck over the coming years: www.lookoutlanding.com/seattle-mari...
New podcast drop talking WBC, spring training position battles, and Kate reports from Arizona:
Cole Young's improved defense has been a storyline for me this spring. Look at how much ground he covers on this bunt, turning on the burners when he realizes neither the pitcher nor the first baseman can get there, and then barehands the catch.
But then there's the pitching: www.lookoutlanding.com/seattle-mari...
Continuing on with our AL West preview series, this week we have the A's, who are sneakily one of the bigger threats in the division (lineup-wise): www.lookoutlanding.com/seattle-mari...

Logan Gilbert epitomizing "ass over teakettle"
Luis Castillo, on seeing Logan Gilbert in the clubhouse after his fielding adventure earlier: "MAN DOWN!!!"
they were begging him not to write scouting reports on literally the. WHOLE WORLD.
Cal on Kade Anderson's debut: "Very impressive. There's going to be a learning curve, but mostly I thought he threw the ball great, especially for the first time out when you never know what's going to happen." [PRETENDS TO THINK] "I think Logan gave up 10 runs in his first spring training game."
Cal Raleigh very seriously asked the beat writers to create a text thread and update him on what his pitchers are doing while he's gone at the WBC. I'm pretty sure Logan is going to get to his locker tomorrow to a giant sign that just says SINKER with a big red X through it.
There was no sudden pull or "grab" with Miller's oblique, just a lingering feeling of soreness. He's had a PRP injection to combat the inflammation.
Speedy Mariners prospect Victor Labrada strained his oblique on a swing in the cages this week and has been shut down. Hollander couldn't give a specific timetable other than that he'll "be down for a bit"
J.P. Crawford (shoulder) will be taking live ABs on one of the back fields today and will DH after the off-day Monday. The plan is he'll DH for the upcoming week and be back in the field the week of the eights.
