Breaking news; congratulations to the St Aidans Primary Academy team who were the winning group at the GSCT schools quiz! Well done and looking forward to the next event.

A fantastic morning of knowledge and competition at St Joseph’s in Dagenham for the first GSCT schools quiz. Huge thanks to St Joseph’s for organising and hosting and the Palmer Academy pupils for being the Quiz Masters. Also thanks to Mr Hinton for his work to set the quiz up.

It is wonderful to gather our Good shepherd Catholic Trust schools together today for our first INSET day, focussing on the well-being of our staff and pupils with the fantastic Adrian Bethune.

The Good Shepherd Catholic Trust visited Parliament today with union colleagues to meet with local MPs and discuss the triple crisis of falling pupil numbers, pupil funding and SEND pressures which are crippling schools. Support is needed now in the London regions and across the country.

Another fantastic achievement for one of our trust schools. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School, Wanstead featured in this years Times ‘Top 100 Primary Schools’. Well done to all pupils, staff, governors and parents on this well deserved recognition.

An amazing day of great football at the first GSCT football tournament today! Six trust schools played their hearts out leading to an exciting final between St Vincent’s and St Teresa’s. St Vincent’s came out on top with 2-0 win. Well done and thank you to all the teams and staff involved today.

Huge excitement today at St Teresa’s in Dagenham as they prepare for the first ‘GSCT Football Tournament’. Good luck to all teams - updates on the results later!
