It’s one sentence and a relatively straightforward one. I’m genuinely not sure how you’re confused or what I could possibly do to help you. I’m sorry.

Were you aiming for something profound here and just biffed it or are you genuinely confused?

If you were a leader of another country do you spend the past six months working on your right hook so that when the time comes to shake his hand you can just take him out before anyone gets a chance to react?

This is not the hate we had for America previously.

We’re past mutual dislike and into we’re done. Sure, we need to squirrel some money away and move some belongings to our mum’s house without you noticing before we leave for good but it’s over.

It really doesn’t matter because that guy ruined it for all of you.

Fuck you Elon Musk. You might be rich but one thing you don’t have is a minority stake in my law firm. Don’t even think about trying to buy it. My partners would never sell. You’d have to offer like… 50x EBIT. If you did then exercising my tag-along rights would make me just so miserable.

Oh you’re mad at me? Please don’t make an offer to buy all the shares in the company I own shares in at a well above-market price to make sure shareholders vote to accept your bid. That would really show me what for. Not sure how I’d ever recover.

Dual citizenship = disloyal. Treasonous.

Dual presidency = good. America first.

Warhammer is melodic death metal.

Power metal is still the hobbit.

Some actuaries sat around and valued a dick and balls… and were right about it.

Checked this against the figures in the Table of Maims and it seems pretty spot on keeping in mind these haven’t been updated since 2010.

Is there really a distinction when you think about it?

There are also variances in the birth years of Plato, Buddha and Pope Alexander II.

I think he only just today learned the word historicity is all.

You should let the historians know. Publish your scholarship.

How is that different to what I already said Mark?

My guy, the historicity of Jesus Christ is well established.

Thinking religion is nonsense is great, I’m right there with you. But you don’t have to ignore history to do it.

He existed in the same way Trump exists.

There was an actual guy with the name and basic details. Everything else is marketing.

You can’t repeal social programs all at once. People get upset. Gotta chip away at them like the American government is doing at the moment.

Which direction do you think we’re going in?

Then the fact that successive Australian governments have not implemented those solutions is an example of Australia making dumb policy choices, wouldn’t you say?

13.12.2025 07:24 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Pointing to them as an example of good governance in Australia would be like talking about how great the USA is doing politically because it passed the Civil Rights Act.

Failing to address capital gains tax incentives is its own policy failure as well.

But it’s the negative gearing (and four decades of governments refusing to address it) that is the real culprit.

The policies Australia has that you’re a fan of are from the 80s. They wouldn’t be passed today.
