Harsh would be throwing them out the plane door immediately. This seems completely appropriate.

Agenda
The IPA Innovative Payments Conference is an inclusive opportunity for all current and future IPA members in the payments industry to engage in exceptional formal and informal learning experiences...
To date, Russ Vought has yet to make a public appearance with his acting CFPB director hat on. That changes on April 30, when he's supposed to speak at the Innovative Payments Conference in DC.
It's closed to the press, apparently. Transparency!

Just a reminder that the original name of this law school (back in 2016) was the Antonin Scalia School of Law, and then it was quickly changed to the Antonin Scalia Law School.
Take a quick look and see if you can guess why they made the change.

From today's Senate Banking Committee hearing, Sen. Van Hollen asks Comptroller of the Currency Gould about the World Liberty trust charter application:
Gould: If you're suggesting the president would do anything inappropriate or illegal, then I reject that.
CVH: Oh I am suggesting that.

Yeah, but once it's public, it's public. So we can start the proxy fight.
Ignore the likelihood of Dolan opting for some sort of dual-share arrangement that gives him super voting powers, please.

I read it and...it seems like CEA wants to bring back pre-financial crisis mortgage lending? That can't be right, can it?

I genuinely don't understand it. Are they saying the qualified mortgage rule is raising costs on auto loans?

When I did some reporting on the $4.7 million the CFPB coughed up for Vought's security to cover basically six months, professionals who oversaw details protecting former top US government officials said that was a staggering amount. Didn't say it was necessarily unwarranted, but that it was a lot.
