If you're not particularly chasing the satisfaction of doing it yourself: at aB+Q or similar near you that has the station where a staff member can cut sheet wood to size, it might be worth asking them if they're able to do cuts like this. I have no idea if they can or not...but can't hurt to ask?
Exactly that for me too. Went into it with massive reservations and was pleased to have my cynicism proved wrong. But for the love of god...never ever try to watch even a moment of the American version.
