Great read. I've been admittedly a little down about the off-season moves but this is such a good reminder of why it's so great to be a Sounders fan.

Damn dude that sucks people are being nasty. I know I always enjoy the show even when I don't agree with a take, really appreciate you guys being willing to throw hot takes out there and admit when you're wrong, it makes for a fun show.

That's a very good point! Despite my low-key pessimistic attitude I honestly have a lot of confidence in waibel based on his track record in recent years, he's done incredibly with what he's been given. I'd just like to see some incoming moves to offset the departures of players I rated highly.

But I'm a casual fan with no clue what's happening behind the scenes besides what I see on here. I guess I'm just venting my feelings a bit because as a fan it's been hard to see so many exciting players leave with so few exciting players coming in.

I am not trying to be a doomer in any way with this comment, but it's been four(?) summer windows now when the sounders have had mechanisms to add to the team and have made zero moves. I'd love to see a move this summer, but I don't think I'm completely out of line by saying my confidence is low.

I guess I have no clue what's happening behind the scenes but this doesn't feel like a great move. Maybe RBW requested it? We've lost a lot of great talent this off-season for less than I think fans were hoping to get back. Not to be a doomer but I hope there are signings in the works...

Yeah not a huge fan of this at all. It feels like the roster quality has taken a significant step back this off-season without getting an amazing return for the value of outgoing players. I would love to be proven wrong about this but that's my gut reaction going into the season

As a sounder fan I can say with 100% confidence a ton of us are rooting for the caps. If it was the timbers this map would be right but I think especially with the ownership trying to sell the team and everything this win would rule for Vancouver. That being said fuck the caps, just fuck miami more

Man I don't want to sound too much like a doomer but if the fee really is less than $1 million (as Niko said over on the bad app) then I'm not really a fan of this move at all. I guess it's doing right by the player but I was a big fan of leyva and losing him really seems to thin out central mids
