I finally did the work to cook a thing! I've never had Ash-E Shooli before but it just tasted so right and so good and so Persian I actually cried.
There was a lovely Persian restaurant that I used to go to where I lived several cities ago. I found another on a business trip once but otherwise have not been able to scratch the itch of this culinary obsession.

We got sweet light-up Justice League sneakers for my AFAB preschooler, and another kid told him superheroes were for boys. Well, that lit me a fire, but I calmly coached him to say that supes were for girls too. Anyway he went back and told that to the little boy. They played supes and all was well.
