A blue woolly jumper, the start of a cream coloured shawl, and a multicoloured handspun hat on a white rug. Earlier this month, I shared that I was working on two samples using my new BFL/Shetland/Alpaca Aran and Shetland DK bases. I am loving these new additions to my lineup, and this may or may not be a sneaky peek at a few colourways coming to a certain fiber show in August in Seattle. I knit a Woodwardia Pullover a few years ago and have been itching to cast another one on! When my sample skeins of BFL/Shetland/Alpaca Aran arrived, I immediately knew it would be the perfect base for this jumper! I am using my all-time favourite tonal, Lake Muskry! My second WIP is a Sophie Shawl, I am using the colourway Woollen on Shetland DK; it is so squishy and lovely! My last project is a Classic Ribbed Hat using the colourway Isle of Rum spun on my Galway Fibre base. This is my first handspun project, and I have loved every step of making it!
Currently on my needles โจ

When Kyle asked if I would be interested in dyeing up a colourway for his Ireland collection, I immediately said yes! I had so many ideas left over from my own collection and was so excited to create a colourway inspired by Muckross House! Bestowed in 1932 to the Irish nation, Muckross House became the cornerstone of Killarney National Park, the first national park in the Republic of Ireland. Muckross House features layers of green with swirls of blue and brown throughout! It will be available on 4ply Sock, Merino DK, and my new non-superwash bases; swipe to get a better look at them, as well as my Galway Fibre base. The preorder for Muckross House will open at 8pm GMT on Monday, the 17th of March. The preorder will stay open for one week unless my dye capacity is reached. There will be a quick turnaround time of 2-3 weeks!
