The Most Important 43 Days of Tranmere Rovers’ Season – Opinion Tranmere Rovers have certainly had an uncomfortable start to their League Two campaign, currently sitting in 19th place. After pre-season aspirations from owner, manager, players and fans alike, those promotion hopes have now turned to relegation worries. Between 22nd November and 4th January will undoubtedly be the most important period within Tranmere Rovers’ season. Tranmere have crucial games against 16th place Accrington Stanley, 17th place Cheltenham, 18th place Harrogate Town, 23rd Carlisle United and two games against 24th place Morecambe… presumably before any January transfer business can be completed.
