Not the best looking cake (and frankly I've made tastier), but I'm moderately satisfied as a first try. Next time I hope to add a gold drip top and gelatin balls.

Was so focused on trying to make a pink champagne cake that it didn't hit me until baking it that a great perk is that I can drink champagne as I bake 😆
