Me too! Especially loved it in Zdarsky’s run….

For what it’s worth, and just my thoughts, but vol 1 was my least favorite of the 3…. Vol 2 had the Aaron story in 2 of the3 issues, and vol 3 had the Zircher tale and a Roy Thomas and Rob De La Torre that were both solid… but again, FWIW

But maybe the best story I’ve seen in them yet is Aaron’s The Ensorcelled which was over two issues… but again, to each their own, but if looking to cherry pick, those are my thoughts for what they are worth

My personal tastes, issue 9 & 11 were better than this one… the boxing story was just ok, interesting to see something different, but not my favorite. 9 Zircher has an awesome Conan and Valeria story…, 11 Sharp does an extended Conan story… Art in both of those are top notch and enjoyable story too

Just finished Savage Sword of Conan #10 — really fun pulp anthology issue.

Classic Conan sword-&-sorcery, a cool Spear & Fang story, even a Robert E. Howard boxing tale. The black-&-white magazine format continues to look fantastic.

Not every story hit the same, but still a solid issue.

Just finished Batman #7 by Matt Fraction & Jorge Jiménez and wow — loved this issue.

Mostly a tense Batman/Joker face-off digging into their twisted connection. Fraction really leans into the psychology of it, & Jiménez’s art is phenomenal.

Bold, character-driven storytelling. 5⭐️ for me.

Just finished Absolute Superman #17 — good time! Parasite hits Metropolis causing catastrophe while Superman tries to contain something way bigger than a normal villain fight. Fun seeing Hawkman and Supes’ different approaches.

& that ending… Brutal cliffhanger. Need the next issue.

Ed Brubaker dos a lot of good Noir stuff tho and he wrote Criminal (a line of comics) that all are super dark but super good. Coward is the first in that run

Just read Narco #1 — 3.5⭐️

A narcoleptic witness becomes the prime suspect after seeing his neighbor’s murder… and passing out at the scene. Cool premise for a thriller.

Solid start and I’d keep reading, but the first issue didn’t totally hook me yet. Good, just not great.

Just finished X-Men Annual (2026) #1 -not for me.A villain weaponizes imagination, forcing artists to draw monsters that rip into reality & trap the XMen in a comic-within-a-comic world.
Interesting idea, but I usually don’t love meta storytelling & this one just didn’t click for me.

Yeah sure thing. Way different than anything I’ve seen before but the humor was landing throughout for me

Just finished Sex Criminals Vol. 1: One Weird Trick — ridiculous premise, but it’s way smarter and funnier than it has any right to be. Fraction’s voice is brutally honest and hilarious, and Zdarsky’s expressions sell every joke. Weird, heartfelt, and surprisingly sincere. #ComicSky
