For additional context, my Mom was born in 1946 and just celebrated her 80th birthday.
She’s in decent health (bad knees, cancer survivor), is my Dad’s full time caregiver, and volunteers. She’s been retired for 15 years.
It hits hard that 3/4 are in their 30s or 40s. It’s likely they lost friends in Iraq and Afghanistan. And here we go again, another needless war
