At first, Lyna was somewhat distrustful of Frin given her tendencies for mischief and seemingly callous disregard for others. After the events of Shadowbringers she comes to realize they just have different ways of internalizing loss or failure, and are steadfast allies when the chips are down.

In their (relatively) short time together, Frin was one of few to make Minfilia regret having the Echo. Despite this, they forged a strong bond in their efforts to eliminate primals together to protect Eorzea.

After the whole Hydaelyn thing, she insists that Frin not call her "mommy", even in jest.

Frin appreciates M'naago's determination and spunk in leading the resistance, but insists she ought to wear less cumbersome gear for benefits to "mobility".

M'naago is skeptical of Frin's claims that all wounds can be healed simply with a thorough licking, but can't really argue with the results.

Frin felt a bit of pity and remorse for the Endless Sphene.

For the true Sphene, she empathizes with her struggle to integrate back into modern society, though their feelings about other peoples' opinions are essentially opposite.
