I don't know about the rest of you but I'm kind of sick of being ruled by pedophiles so wealthy they can essentially buy their way out of being accountable to any society or government

There's this move that happens from some people when they like something it means that it must be good. So you start seeing handringing tweets and takes like "X wasn't that bad" or "you know what, X was underrated". Stop trying to justify trash. It's okay to like things that are bad.

you can really feel how badly Toho wanted Shin Godzilla to continue as a franchise and you can kind of feel some of the american franchise in this movie too, however they really did an amazing job with what i have to assume was a way more limited budget
