Join DSA SF and @jackiefielder.bsky.social at city hall Monday at 12 to rally for a Muni measure that grows service while protecting tenants!
The MuniForever proposal:
- expands service by 10%
- prohibits tax pass-throughs to rent-controlled tenants
- shifts tax burden onto corporations and mansions
The city should buy this portfolio and leverage Prop I revenue to make it happen. This would be consistent with the vision of the voters, the BOS, and our office in passing Prop I in 2020. Let’s seize the opportunity to jumpstart a real social housing program and do this now!
