My favorite NIN album is that fist one - Pretty Hate Machine. Id put Unknown Pleasures and Closer by Joy Division as 'near perfect' along with the NIN album. The Fragile by NIN has been cast aside by some, but that double album has some soundscapes on it that are unreal and unmatched.
Nice, I didnt get down the industrial pipeline too much beyond Ministry or NIN. Just the entry level stuff. Ive heard some cool Lords of Acid stuff, but this is interesting too. Its a group not too many people are into.

If you dont like the labeling 'near perfect" is also acceptable. There are many Autechre albums and others id put in this category.
Doesnt mean performance has to be perfect either. Perfection can be in inperfection sometimes - if its right.
What do you classify as a 'perfect album'? Two come to mind for me - Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins and Loveless by My Bloody Valentine. Im not strict on what a 'perfect album consists of, but its got to be something you play completely through - no skips, and every song + production is great
