almost done polishing up the #librequake (@queer.sh) shotgun textures, just a tiny bit of pixel level noodling left i reckon. 200x200px, quake 1 palette. 206 triangles. original model and texture by @adaya.bsky.social

blender pet peeve: by default it makes colours and contrast look like shit by using the "filmic" view transform. setting it to "standard" makes everything look infinitely better. why is this the default.

Video of combat in my game and where the grappling hook is right now. I always wanted a lot of enemies in a level, but hitscan makes that no fun. So what if you cvar'd hitscan? The results are pretty neat. The grappling hook also draws a rope properly now, so you can tell what you grappled to.
Still around, just refining some things with my game. I will have more to show soon :3

While I have not fixed brush entities for other time periods, they work in the present for now. Need to focus on other things. I also made the grappling hook more stable.
