We downsized to this house. We donated so many books to the library when we moved. Looking at our bookshelves it’s soon time to donate more because there is very little room for new books. And I want some new books. Now I have a new place to buy them! Thanks.

You’re not wrong there. I remember clearly at 5 being told an IM injection in my rear would not hurt a bit. When I cried I was shushed and told I was being a crybaby. I realized quickly doctors and nurses were mean. Despite a long career in health care I have not entirely altered that opinion.
It is confounding isn’t it. I can’t imagine how their thinking actually works. Maybe they just don’t think at all.

My hubs wiped out and hurt his shoulder. Called Maple ( No Primary Doc) to get x ray and physio referral. No big deal. The NP recommended a Chiropractor! Hubs response “Really? You are recommending a Chiropractor? That’s a hard no.” The NP was highly offended. I was literally gobsmacked!

I have had students from countries where vaccines aren’t available.They were absolutely aghast when we discussed vaccine hesitancy or denial. One student described it as the height of privilege. All these students have had siblings and friends die of completely preventable disease.
We still wear ours. Haven’t been sick since 2020. Now that I’ve written that my superstitious self is now worried that I’ve jinxed myself. 😉
