Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

Good fucking morning to everybody, except those refusing to say Melissa Hortman's name—the Democratic lawmaker who was assassinated just 12 weeks ago. Her murder deserves the same attention as Charlie Kirk’s, as we all try to figure out how to make sure this shit never happens again.

They saw him die... I can't... Why won't people put a stop to this? There was another school shooting in CO at the same time.
How many people have to die? How many kids traumatized? Why is this still even a debate?

Assasinating two Dems in Minnesota was barely a blip from the media. Remember that the next few days.

It is possible to hold both of these things true at the same time:

1) political violence is never an appropriate choice in a civilized society

2) Charlie Kirk’s dream is to create exactly the kind of society he currently lives in, as spoken from his own mouth
