Really pleased Emmaus UK has been able to support this campaign by @cihhousing.bsky.social, calling for the government to unfreeze Local Housing Allowance at November's budget. Really important for reducing poverty and risk of homelessness.

Delighted the new pedestrian crossing on Long Lane is now complete.

Something residents have called for for a long time and which we've made sure is delivered using our ward funding.

Glad residents can now enjoy the benefits when walking in this area.

Great to welcome so many MPs to their local Emmaus community since the General Election.

Really good opportunity to see our model of combining housing, work opportunities in onsite social enterprises, and social support in action, and how it helps stop homelessness.
