Realistically the faction of tory they need right now is of a liberal centre leaning character. Not a farage fan girl.

This decision is by no doubt one of a careerist. His ward is as conservative as they come. Only in LE25 did Wiltshire council change from tory control to lib dem 43 and conservatives 37. Reform finished 3rd with 10! I hope he loses his seat in the next election. Namely to a tory to bruise his ego!!
100% support legislation where a by election is automatically called if there's a defection. Really think Danny's sold out his soul here. 4 years out from an election, no real costed policies and the most recent local election results had reform in 3rd. 27 seats behind conservatives in 2nd!
Labour's average polling was higher than 10 pts. The nearest to them was tories but way off. Here the average among polls for reform is below 10. Only find out now have them miles out. By the average polling data there's no runaway leader at all
These forecasts are so way off the mark. Parties with a 10 point lead don't even manage a majority. Take it seat by seat and reform won't over turn conservatives in traditional strongholds. Same goes for Labour too. Also feel there will be alot of tactical voting to stop a reform government
Baffles me how people who honour free speech, freedom of choice and honouring our traditions. Are so against a tradition in British music culture. An event which has attracted many top artists from around the world.
My question to them is which services are they prepared to see the 'waste' cutting from. Education, waste services, bus services, highways, children services? From experience there isn't anything left to cut.
The whole reform campaign for local elections is based on 'cutting waste' and 'cutting council tax'. Voters don't need a degree to read between the lines here. The word 'cuts' is exactly what voters will get when they elect a reform administration.
This is the problem, public dissolution in politics means anything that clicks gets votes. 90 billion tax cuts is fine! But what are you cutting to afford that. Foreign aid Β£15 billion, climate levies Β£30 billion. Still 45 billion short and that's not including the other 120 billion spending plans.
More generally even wealth most likely. Denmark have net zero migration, 80% renewable energy and they are members of EU and ECHR. Boomers nightmare
Surely if your looking cut costs, adding a new level of bureaucracy adds to that. As someone who works in local authority, the best way to make cuts is through improving the services. Make them more efficient and use the best equipment available.
Hardly surprising given the literature they are using for the upcoming locals. Stop the boats, lower taxes, cut net zero. All things that can't be solved by local authority. Lower council tax despite not knowing the running costsπ€¦ββοΈ won't be stopping boats but potholes instead.
They say we're a Christian country when in reality we're atheist. Christenings these days are an excuse for a family get together. There's no way anyone who backs reform has even read the bible, let alone practices its teachings.
Couldn't write thisπ supposed to have rifts in government! Not on the opposition backbenches
How long will it take for elected reform councillors to realise that they won't be stopping boats. Instead they'll be filling potholes and carrying out bin collectionsπ
Can't walk the streets of Southampton either he's hated that much.
Frustrates me how such a serious issue of child exploitation is weaponised by this lot just to line their pockets. Do we need an inquiry? Yes, but we'd only learn that it's a result of underfunded and poor performance in children services. The jay report still hasn't had its recommendations actioned
Guilt of what? Kidnap? Murder? Money laundering? None of the above have traction. However, they are 100% guilty of neglect. Like I said any other low skilled profession. Those parents would be vilified for leaving a 2 year old on their own.
Then let's not forget public money got used to aid the search and still is today. Not going to conspire a story. But any other couple would definitely be up for neglect.
Evidence? Bit late going decades after the event. Point still stands what good parent would leave a young child in a foreign country on their own? If you don't see that as concerning, then your flawed. Unfortunately we'll never know the truth.
They act as if two tier justice is a new concept. Like have they not heard of madeline mccann. How two medical professionals have avoided any investigation. However if that be a carer and a brickie, they'd still be serving their sentence.
Get Britain building is fine, but we really need to consider the environmental impacts when we build. Building on flood planes massively increases the chances of homes flooding and roads becoming unaccessible. Removing trees and green land carries a heavy price in the long run.
Talks about authoritarian society and over regulations. But talks about banning phones in schools?
Can't vouch for US, but here in UK it's played it's part. Not that it's migrants fault. The blane lies with the powers who have failed to invest in young people for over a decade. The disenfranchisement of apprenticeships and vocational education. Has been particularly significant.
Surprisingly yes, through many different means too. Either to top up the wage of those in full time work. To support those off sick from work. Then those who don't see work as worth while.
Yes, we've assumed that the academic route is the be and end all for our country. Which has alienated alot of key roles.
Exactly my point on carers. If the wage was increased and respect put on the career path. Then maybe we would see a higher uptake from 'natives'. Truck drivers, restaurant workers, brickies also in this boat. Doctors and nurses is a education system problem.
I don't know how you can support this bill. Our palliative care is abysmal, majorly funded via charity. Forget dignity in dying. When are we going to put dignity in being alive.
They are so wrongly devalued despite them being so important. I'd urge the government to pass a law whereby businesses can't pay migrants less. Like what was in place when we were apart of the eu.
We have more and more young people going onto welfare benefits. Because they are mentally drained from not being given opportunity or being written off. We should invest in them give them hope and a chance. For example carers I'd propose a minimum wage of Β£15 per hour for both native& migrant carers
