The game is really early on and being worked on by a solo dev, but I think it would really improve the game if there was a better game loop other than catching a ton of fish worth almost nothing to get a upgraded rod that feels like it's not changing much. Maybe this can be remedyed by a bait system

SO played rift fishing for a bit now and I see promise of it being good, but atm it just feels... off. I think its mainly that web fishing had more incremental upgrades where this just has more expensive rods that don't really change the quality of fish you catch.

partner got pokeopia while I'm scrambling to find my next game to play and the fomo is real. Hoping the rift fishing demo can bring my brain some joy

Been playing the Demo for White Knucke like nonstop since yesterday, idk what it is about games like this that make me want to perfect them . Made it all the way to the elevator segment for the yellow habitation area and died. Wish I had the full game so I at least wouldve had a checkpoint.
